oday, I am celebrating my husband Stephen's birthday. Since we met in college back in 05, I've been smittin ever since. Stephen is one of those guys that just gets along with anyone. his summer has been a whirlwind of awesome. I took some time of work for a bit to enjoy being a mom, catch up on things that needed to get done and pack up our house to move. It's been quite the crazy summer but so much fun too. As artists, we need time to recharge and gain new perspectives as our busy seasons start up again. hen I was pregnant, every day I would pray that this baby would be happy. (A whole lot of other things) but happy was a word I used the most. A year ago today, I was in labor for 24 hours. Yes, 24 HOURS. The only thought that kept me going, was being able to hold my baby boy when all the pain would subside. Finally, sweet Henry Dawson was placed in my arms and life just felt complete. very year, we have so much to be thankful for. Health, family, love and the ability to live makes life so incredible. Regardless of what your life is like right now, you have so much to be thankful for. nfortunately I missed writing something about how amazing my mom is on mothers day (Sorry mom! You know how much I love you!)
