Promo Video Shoot II : Tarah and Joshua

As most of you know, I am seriously OBSESSED with anything old and vintage. There is just something neat about old clothes, suitcases and books. They all have been worn out and hold many old tales of adventure. I love to think about who might have read those old books or wore the beautiful vintage 50's dress I bought from a vintage store. So many stories I wish I knew. If any of you have been following my blog through my wedding planning process, you would have read about my venture of finding the perfect dress for my rehearsal dinner. I searched all the best vintage stores online and found nothing that suited my taste until I stumbled upon Timeless Vixen. I was literally SUCKED into the GORGEOUS woven vintage threads and just HAD to purchase my dream dress. Many posts back, I posted two dresses I loved and all of YOU who are my blog readers helped me pick the right dress and I'm so glad I took your advice.
I called up my two friends whom I recently shot their engagement session this past November. I knew they would be the perfect models for this shoot and it just so happens they fit the part PERFECTLY. I lent Tarah my timeless dress for the shoot and my goodness... she fit the dress the way it was supposed to be worn. I was flabbergasted when I saw her in the dress!! I'm thrilled it all worked out and I couldn't be happier to watch my vision turn into reality. My latest posts have ALL been about my recent promo shoot with Anton Lorimer and throughout the process I had the wonderful opportunity to set up some wonderful and inspiring shoots. This is the second shoot of the promo and I am thrilled it all pulled together! Thanks Tarah and Joshua for being such gorgeous models. Can't wait to document your wedding this February!!

One really cool thing about these trains is they reflect a lot of light .... they acted like a flash and I just loved how it worked as the perfect reflector! The sky was the perfect shade of blue on a cloudy day!

The sun peeked out at the perfect time!

Im proud to not only call this beautiful couple my clients but also my friends.

Promo Shoot with Anton Lorimer

The past few weeks, Stephen and I have been planning and planning our promo video with Anton Lorimer. I contacted Anton a while back to possibly shoot a promo video and it just so happened that Anton was visiting Phoenix and he would have time to shoot our promo! I almost jumped out of my seat when we set the date. I had about six weeks to pull together three couples and set up my photoshoots!!!! SIX WEEKS?!! I am such a planner so I knew we had enough time but finding places in Phoenix to shoot just isn't quite that easy. Stephen and I drove around town picking out our favorite spots that represent US and this is the first shoot and location we picked. The next step was finding couples to shoot. I couldn't have been MORE excited with Promise and her awesome husband Brian when they agreed to be our models for the day! The local grove owners we found were more than generous to allow us to use a part of their groves for some photos. It just seemed to fit so perfectly and I couldn't be more happy with how these turned out! From the props to the outfits, everything tied together so nicely. I will definitely be writing more about Anton as I showcase the promo these next few months, but I was so impressed by his professionalism and his way of connecting with clients. It means so much to me to work with someone that is so personable. It sets me at ease and I am SO excited to see what Anton documented throughout the day. Its been such a treat and we feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to work with such talented people as these. I just couldn't wait to post these... seriously... how much more beautiful can Promise and Brian get? WOW.

The light in the groves was delicious!! I loved how soft it made the photos look...

I know these two photos are SO similar but honestly, I just couldn't pick. Promise and Brian look like they are straight out of a magazine cover!

It was so fun watching Anton Lorimer work ...

Promise and Brian were so much fun to work with. I love their sense of style and it really helped bring a lot to the shoot!

I cant wait to see what I see through my camera but on film!

I LOVE this location!!

Brian looks like a rock star. I also love that you can see me in his glasses ;)
